We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Addison, Texas. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating across many IPTs (Integrated Product Team) and enterprise-wide business areas with effective communication skills
- Directing and coordinating resources involved in specific phases of the program, ensuring the program team understands and adheres to contract scope and tracks changes
- Preparation and delivering of briefings on program status to customers, executive leadership and supporting team
- Managing project schedule activities and deliverables in Microsoft Project
- Modifying and changing objectives as needed and communicate the impact of those changes to those involved in the project
- Coordinating the completion and submittal of the program deliverables per the statement of work and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) along with all artifacts to support the contract
- Assisting program management team with preparation & cadence of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reviews of cost, schedule, and technical performance of the organization programs at various levels of complexity from component production, assembly deliveries, and subsystem integration, test, and demonstration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or formal training
- 5 + years’ experience in project management
- 3 + years’ experience supporting aerospace or Department of Defense programs
- Ability to obtain a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent certification within 6 months of hire
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in project management methodologies such as Six Sigma or Agile
- Knowledgeable with contract modification process, CDRL management, statements of work, budget development including recurring and non-recurring costs, schedule milestones and task development, workforce planning, and understanding of key terms and conditions
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- An active Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or higher level of program management certification, i.e. Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience in owning & executing contract modifications, CDRL management, statements of work, budget development including recurring and non-recurring costs, schedule milestones and task development, workforce planning, and understanding of key terms and conditions.
