Job Description: Firehawk Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the successful execution of programs, with a primary focus on IMS (Integrated Master Schedule) and EVMS (Earned Value Management System) implementation and execution. IMS and EVMS Implementation and Execution:
- Lead the development, implementation, and execution of Integrated Master Schedules and Earned Value Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IMS and EVMS.
- Monitor project performance, analyze data, and provide insights to enhance project efficiency.
- Oversee and coordinate multiple defense projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution.
- Implement risk management strategies to safeguard project success.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in program management within the defense industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Integrated Master Schedules and Earned Value Management Systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- The position requires coordinating and working with cross-functional teams.
- High-energy and self-driven individual that can “make things happen” without a large support organization to depend on daily and knows how to manage his/her time wisely.
- Successful track record in managing complex aerospace/defense programs as a prime or subcontractor to a domestic or foreign military organization preferred.
