Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Recruiter at Firehawk Aerospace. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to fill open positions within the company. The role will involve collaborating with hiring managers, conducting interviews, negotiating job offers, and maintaining candidate relationships.
Qualifications
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and Firehawk Aerospace staff, ensuring a positive experience for all parties.
- Owning the New Hire process and New Hire Orientation.
- Recruitment, Talent Sourcing, and Candidate Screening skills, Interviewing and Negotiation abilities
- Manage job postings on various platforms, including the company website and external job boards. This will include drafting job postings and other recruitment-related materials as well as posting and maintaining job listings on state job boards in alignment with Affirmative Action (AA) and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status updates.
- Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Support the onboarding process by conducting pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and coordinating start dates.
- Schedule, coordinate, and conduct new hire onboarding.
- Coordinate the employee referral bonus program, tracking bonus payment obligations, etc.
- Support Applicant Tracking reporting for Affirmative Action Plans and other applicant reporting needs.
- Maintain recruitment metrics and distribute to team on a regular basis.
- Develop and maintain contacts with educational institutions and external recruiting agencies. Coordinate internship program in partnership with Human Resources.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to improve processes and enhance the candidate experience.
- Owning New hire CBT training, enrolling new hires into the training systems.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Previous experience in recruiting for the aerospace or defense industry is a desired
- Must be able to obtain security clearance.
