We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team in Addison, Texas. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Requirements Management and other Systems Engineering Management Plans.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Systems Engineering, Design, Analysis, Test, R&D and Business Development.
- Automate manual processes by writing scripts to streamline tasks and develop testing-specific software or scripts for data reporting and analysis.
- Create and implement in-house testing/control software tailored to project needs including simulations, algorithm modeling, and data analysis for performance evaluation, including data visualization.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by evaluating tools and documenting ideas for system and subsystem enhancements.
- Integrate various data streams to support digital engineering initiatives and consolidate tools from various teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and generate Qualification and Test Reports. Manage data inputs into Excel, ensuring proper formatting for analysis parameter outputs.
- Maintain and upgrade proprietary software tools.
- Develop scripts to automate the updating of systems engineering documents based on data outputs from requirements software.
- Design system architecture and create integration diagrams.
- Support the integration of precision lab equipment, including diagnostics systems.
- Contribute to research and script development for integrating equipment used in research and development.
- Build tools to analyze data related to performance metrics to optimize quality.
- Work with technical lab equipment to support ongoing experiments and testing.
- Assist with thermal/structural analysis as workload permits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience automating manual processes through scripting or software development.
- Proficiency in building tools to analyze complex data sets.
- Ability to support and contribute to lab work, including equipment integration and testing.
