The Manager, Business Strategy will be responsible for managing the Capture and Business Acquisition Process framework for the Firehawk Aerospace Huntsville site in support of teammates in Huntsville, AL and elsewhere.
- Coordinate the inputs of various team members to identify and call attention to potential conflicts in availability, readiness, and configurations.
- Brief updates and status on assigned activities, organize and facilitate incremental reviews, adjudicate and reconcile technical and operational issues, schedule and oversee regular coordination meetings, and actively manage the completion of delegated tasks.
- Lead Capture, Operational Design, strategic planning, and verification of performance prediction for current and future campaigns.
- Provide oversight and mentoring to the program’s technical teams, analysts, and other mission planning personnel.
- Coordinate team engagement, facilitate meetings, capture details associated with company strategies, important contacts, meeting agendas, and follow up on activities.
- Facilitate information sharing across Firehawk Aerospace management and operations teams.
- Track strategic engagement team topics and strategy development activities, helping facilitate successful outcomes.
- Coordinate team engagement activity, capture topic details, content and associated actions and take aways via documents, presentations and afteraction report follow up.
- Identify and establish customer and industry engagement activity, processes, best practices.
- Map critical customers and industry partner contact information.
- Collaborate with Strategy and Growth team members to build and maintain strong relationships customers.
- Anticipate and solve problems while implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Help prepare responses on special topics and customer engagement items.
- Work in partnership with internal organizations on continuous process improvement initiatives and activities.
- Actively interface and engage with Firehawk Aerospace teams to synchronize messaging and operations.
- Actively participate in industry and customer engagements such as conferences and symposiums representing the Firehawk Aerospace Aerospace brand throughout the community.
- Help coordinate Firehawk Aerospace Aerospace events and facilitate Firehawk Aerospace Aerospace’s participation in community activities to ensure appropriate preparation and representation. Engagement participation requires planning, active coordination, multitasking and representation.
- Coordinate team social media representation, ensuring highlights are captured/shared.
- Coordinate office management, facilitate meeting logistics and location requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Aerospace and Defense development work or 7 years with a master’s or PhD.
- Adept problem solver and possess critical thinking skills
- Must be selfmotivated and goal oriented
- Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization such as employees, management and internal / external sponsors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Must be a US citizen
- Must currently have and/or be capable of obtaining a TS security clearance
- Must have valid driver’s license/vehicle insurance sufficient to access military facilities

May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
